The event brought together leading academics, creative businesses and representatives from funding agencies from both China and UK, for the exploration of key opportunities and challenges to consolidate partnerships and future collaboration.

The NVIDIA Joint-Lab on Mixed Reality was invited to the event as one of the six representatives. I presented my system demos and experiment findings as part of our lab’s research highlights.

SPARK is a British Council Festival of Ideas. It celebrates the best of UK and HK creativity across the arts, sciences and education, and offers a platform for cultural exchange between the UK and Hong Kong.

The NVIDIA Joint-Lab on Mixed Reality was invited to the event and I was one of the exhibitors. During the event, my AR cube and hybrid VR and AR system were presented to the audience.

I was featured in the digital cultural heritage episode of the Inspiring Research documentary as a member of NVIDIA Joint-Lab (Video) and presented my research in the event.

UK-China GREAT Festival of Creativity

Co-organised by the UK Embassy, the China-British Business Council, the British Council and UK Trade & Investment, the festival showcases British innovation and creativity in various domains.

Sharing a stage with Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Sir Tim Berners-Lee, I took part in a session on smart cities and delivered a speech with AR holograms (news links: CNEN)
